EasyVoxBox - The Open Source PBX Phone System

Here we describe the process to install EasyVoxBox (EVB) on a computer where the Centos 5.2 operating system has been previously installed. This computer should ONLY have Centos packages installed. Another existing or previous version of EVB or Asterisk should not be currently installed on the computer.

This process uses 'yum' to install required operating system packages and then installs the EasyVoxBox software.

The computer must be connected to a network and have Internet Access.

First, login to the target computer as root and,

wget http://www.easyvoxbox.org/pub/eapl

chmod 700 eapl

./eapl install

Then follow the on-screen instructions. Refer to the standard network install page for additional instructions common to both methods.
